Hello there, I am Donita Willaford, the owner of Flaming Geysers Havanese 2. My auntie is the original Flaming Geysers Havanese in our family and after years of her trying to get me involved, I started to breed these wonderful dogs. I raise Havanese in my home and they are showered with love and affection. Animals have an amazing impact in our lives and my number one goal is to connect people with lifelong, loving companions. While I predominantly breed Havanese for the purpose of being pets, many Flaming Geysers puppies have gone on to be winning show dogs. I believe in breeding healthy, high-quality canines and my breeding stock have all undergone health tests to ensure offspring are healthy and strong. Though I have had a lot of different animals in my 53 years, I have to say Havanese are one of the most enjoyable breeds there are.

I was referred to Donita by a friend after we lost our 15-year-old Shi Tzu. I’d never heard of the Havanese breed. What I’ve learned after adopting Beau is that they are extremely friendly, very trainable, fun-loving and very smart. The quality of dog that Donita breeds is exceptional. I just had Beau in for a check-up (he’s now 4) and the vet noted he has incredibly good teeth, a wonderful disposition and is at a healthy, trim weight. We’ve not had to deal with any health issues or behavior issues. He’s a bit spoiled, but that’s my fault. He’s an absolute delight and such a blessing to our family.
We adopted our happy, healthy Havanese puppy from Flaming Geysers 2 in October, 2018. Remy is a great addition to our family. He has the sweetest, most playful personality and is best buddies with our daughter. Donita is a reputable breeder who truly cares about her pups and goes above and beyond to make sure her dogs and their new families area great fit for each other. Her passion and care for her puppies does not stop once they go home with you. Remy is our first puppy and Donita has continued to assist me with any questions or concerns we have had along the way.
